METROBUS: Bus service is guaranteed 365 days
a year and 24 hours a day. It serves all of the popular areas
of Greater Miami connecting Miami International Airport and the
beaches. It is also conveniently connected with Metrorail stops.
The lines which travel the streets of Miami Beach, including the
famous Collins Avenue and Indian Creek Road, are excellent for
getting between the northern areas of Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles
and the areas in South Beach.
METRORAIL: this rapid transit system with more
than 22 stations, connects the areas of South Miami, Coral Gables,
Downtown and the Civic Center Area in just a few minutes. It runs
every day from 5:00 a.m. to midnight. It is conveniently connected
with the Brickell and Government Center Metromover stops.
METROMOVER: this is an electric, operator-less
elevated shuttle, which serves the areas of Downtown, Brickell
and Omni with more than 20 stations situated approximately every
other block. It is conveniently connected with the Metrobus and
Metrorail lines. Service is frequent from 5 in the morning to
midnight and it has recently become a tourist attraction due to
its elevated position which offers a different view of Downtown
and Biscayne Bay.
SOUTH BEACH LOCAL: for just 25 cents this gives you the
possibility of wandering around all of South Beach. Used by both
locals and visitors it travels in the heart of the Art Deco District
with stops near more than 20 sights. It travels over Washington
Street and West Avenue from the north and 17th Street (Convention
Center) to South Pointe Park; it runs from Monday to Saturday
from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. There
